A species known and appreciated is Adonis vernalis L. (Pheasant's Eye, Spring Pheasant's Eye, Yellow Pheasant's Eye and False Hellebore), a xero-thermophilic survival, which has a thick rhizome in the soil, a stem 10-30 cm high, bearing leaves pinnate-side, hair-shaped and divided.
